A good choice I made in coming to Surigao and spending my Chinese New Year's break at Kalinaw. Although the journey was a bit tedious, I was richly rewarded with azure turquoise water (as good as Hawaii); sun; a room that was simple, open and huge; smiling staff; friendly dogs Bullet & Droopy; great conversation with people; outstanding entrees; pizza (i never eat pizza); invigorating runs every morning; helpful Mannie in Surigao City; fun loving PH children on Daku island; fresh grilled tuna; observing how the French guys take on projects and do it well... the spirit and enthusiasm for creating this little haven... Kalinaw thank you all for your warm Aloha to me. Take care, until I return again, all the best for the future.
