Thanks for your hospitality and great presentation of all that the Kalinawresort could offer us. Masami and I had a superb vacation and great fun with adorable dogs, beautiful ocean and surfing. We never thought we could ride on the wave!!! And we enjoyed most of the food, especially thin crusty "pizza" and "mango melba". ummmh, yammy. We also love the simple but chic designed villa and the tranquil resort itself. We will definitely come back and see you again in the near future! Thanks, Kalinaw staff. Thanks, Siargao.

It's a wonderful weeks in the resort. We go fishing isds ok. Fred is a very nice boy. A good choice I made in coming to Surigao and spending my Chinese New Year's break at Kalinaw. Although the journey was a bit tedious, I was richly rewarded with azure turquoise water (as good as Hawaii); sun; a room that was simple, open and huge; smiling staff; friendly dogs Bullet & Droopy; great conversation with people; outstanding entrees; pizza (i never eat pizza); invigorating runs every morning; helpful Mannie in Surigao City; fun loving PH children on Daku island; fresh grilled tuna; observing how the French guys take on projects and do it well... the spirit and enthusiasm for creating this little haven... Kalinaw thank you all for your warm Aloha to me. Take care, until I return again, all the best for the future.

C'est le jour du départ. Je n'ai qu'une envie, c'est de rester dans ce petit coin de paradis. Tout mon séjour s'est déroulé comme dans un rêve: des sessions de surf sur des spots désert, la découverte d'endroits magiques, les poissons frais du jour grillés sur la plage de Dako, Sohoton Caves, La Janosa, les massages... et il y a encore tant d'autres choses à découvrir!
Le resort est vraiment unique avec ses cottage luxueux et leurs architecture qui donnent une ambiance apaisante. Tous les repas et cocktails étaient exquis et originaux. Gros merci à tout le team de Kalinaw, spécialement à Fred et Pierre qui ont fait d'un rêve une réalité. Et big up à Boulette et Droopy... A très bientôt!

It’s been a little over a week since we left Siargao and we miss the place! J Thank you for being such great hosts. We love your resort both in terms of the architecture as well as the view it offers. Our cottage is also clean and spacious. The food, though, is what we miss the most. Every meal has been great. Also, the crepes are to die for! We do hope we could come back within the next year or so.

Nous sommes partis de Siargao depuis 3 semaines et il nous reste des images inoubliables plein la tête. C'était le paradis. On a tout aimé : les plages de rêve pour nous seuls, le snorkling au milieu des poissons multicolores, les étoiles de mer roses ou bleues, les piscines naturelles, la cascade au milieu de la "jungle", le paysage fabuleux de Sohoton Cave, les cours de surf, les massages, sans oublier les excellents petits-déjeuners, les barbecues sur la plage, le confort du resort et son côté zen et apaisant...Merci pour ces vacances de rêve. On n'a qu'une envie : revenir ! A bientôt, donc. Catherine, Laurent et les enfants.

What an amazing trip it was! Made more so by the gracious people of the resort and the island, the great food (best we’ve had on a beach vacation), beautiful sights and of course, the wonderful accommodations. We all hoped we could have stayed longer. We have definitely fallen in love with both the resort and the island.
I have already told my family and friends stories of Kalinaw and Siargao so we will definitely be seeing you again.

it was great finally meeting you and staying in your spectacular resort. i "discovered" siargao two years ago and have been going there regularly to fish and frequently enough to tour my friends. i am constantly lured back to catch gamefish. but another "discovery" and experience that i know will draw me back is Kalinaw Resort. i thoroughly enjoyed staying in kalinaw, meeting new friends and playing with droopy, bullet and the cute puppies. and, yeah, the architecture of your place is phenomenal! great job gentlemen! see you sometime soon.
